Tile Assembly Instructions

Align numbered registration marks and butt tile edges flush without overlapping untrimmed paper. Tape securely.

Step-by-Step Sewing Instructions

Draft construction notes. Readable online; review against the pattern pieces before sewing.

Interface Brim & Crown

Fuse medium-to-heavy woven interfacing to outer brim and outer crown pieces for structural rigidity.

Assemble Side Crown Band

Stitch short side seams of side band right sides together. Press seams open. Repeat for lining side band.

Attach Crown Oval to Side Band

Quarter-mark crown oval and upper edge of side band. Pin right sides together, easing curves smoothly. Stitch at 6 mm.

Assemble Flared Brim

Stitch outer brim halves at side seams. Repeat for lining brim. Place outer and lining brims right sides together, stitch outer perimeter, turn right side out, and press.

Quilt Brim & Complete Hat

Topstitch concentric circular rows 6 mm apart across entire brim width. Stitch brim to crown unit, insert lining, hand-stitch or topstitch rim closed.
