With right sides together, pin front raglan sleeve seams to front bodice matching notches. Stitch at 1.5 cm (5/8"). Repeat for back raglan sleeve seams to back bodice. Finish allowances and press toward sleeves.
With right sides together, align side seams and underarm sleeve seams. Stitch from sleeve hem through underarm down to body hem at 1.5 cm (5/8"). Finish seam and press toward back.
Fold top raw neckline edge down 6 mm toward wrong side and press. Fold down another 12 mm to create casing. Edgestitch 1 mm from bottom folded edge, leaving a 3 cm opening at center back.
Using a safety pin, thread 6 mm elastic through the neckline channel. Try on blouse and adjust tension to your comfort. Overlap elastic ends by 1.5 cm, zigzag stitch securely, push into channel, and stitch opening closed.
Form 10 mm casing at sleeve hems for wrist elastic if desired, or finish as straight turned cuffs. Turn lower hem under 6 mm, then 9 mm, and stitch.

Possible Cause: Elastic cut too short or shrank during pressing.
Recommended Fix: Never press directly on braided elastic. Increase elastic length by 3–4 cm for a softer, relaxed hold.
