Fabric Cutting Checklist:

Press fabric before cutting to remove packing folds and pre-shrink fibers.

Tile Assembly Instructions

Align numbered registration marks and butt tile edges flush without overlapping untrimmed paper. Tape securely.

Step-by-Step Sewing Instructions

Draft construction notes. Readable online; review against the pattern pieces before sewing.

Interface and Construct Visor Peak

Insert rigid Peltex/interfacing between upper and lower visor pieces right sides together. Stitch outer curved edge at 6 mm, trim seam allowance, turn right side out, press, and topstitch outer rim.

Assemble Main Crown

Stitch curved center crown strip between left and right side crown panels right sides together, matching balance notches. Press seams open over a tailor's ham.

Assemble Crown Lining

Repeat crown assembly for lining pieces, pressing seams open neatly.

Attach Visor to Crown

Align center mark of finished visor peak with center front seam of outer crown. Baste securely within the seam allowance.

Enclose Lining & Finish with Sweatband

Join outer crown and lining around lower edge, encasing the visor seam. Turn right side out, press perimeter, and topstitch internal grosgrain sweatband ribbon into place.
