1. Overview and Core Philosophy

Threadline Patterns ("we", "us", or "our", operated by the Threadline Patterns Project) operates this website to provide an accessible digital sewing library. We are committed to transparency regarding how data and browsing technologies are handled.

2. Analytics and Advertising

Advertising is not enabled. Optional Google Analytics is available only on a configured production site and loads after you accept analytics. It measures page visits and browser/device information; query strings, URL fragments and form contents are not intentionally included in our page-view configuration. You can reject analytics or withdraw your choice using Analytics preferences. Rejecting analytics does not restrict pattern access. Google processes analytics data under its own privacy policy.

3. Browser Local Storage (Theme Preference)

We use your browser's local storage (localStorage) to remember analytics consent (key: threadline-analytics-consent), when analytics is configured, and for remembering whether you prefer the Light Theme or Dark Theme across page visits (key: threadline-theme). These stored preferences stay in your browser. Accepting analytics allows Google Analytics to use its own cookies and send analytics data to Google.

4. Web Server Logs

Like all standard web servers and Content Delivery Networks (e.g. Cloudflare Pages), standard technical connection logs (such as your IP address, browser user-agent, and requested file path) may be processed temporarily by network infrastructure solely for the technical delivery of web pages, DDoS mitigation, and server security. These logs are not combined with personal profiles.

5. Voluntary Communications

The issue form prepares a report in your browser. When no support email is configured, it downloads a text file and sends nothing. With a configured address, it opens your email app; information is sent only when you choose to send that email.
