Print Page 1 at 100% scale without page scaling. Check Metric box (50 mm x 50 mm) or Imperial box (2.0 in x 2.0 in = 50.8 mm) with a rigid ruler.

Tile Assembly Instructions

Align numbered registration marks and butt tile edges flush without overlapping untrimmed paper. Tape securely.

Step-by-Step Sewing Instructions

Draft construction notes. Readable online; review against the pattern pieces before sewing.

Layer Quilted Sandwich

Layer Potholder Outer Panels right sides facing out with Thermal Batting Core sandwiched securely between them. Pin or baste layers together across perimeter.

Quilt Grid Lines

Mark 2.5 cm diagonal diamond grid lines with tailor's chalk. Quilt through all layers with walking foot, and press seam allowances flat.

Attach Hanging Loop & Bias Trim

Fold hanging loop strip right sides together, stitch, turn, and baste to upper corner. Encase raw edges with double-fold bias trim right sides together, mitering corners neatly. Press finished potholder.
