Construct Johnny Collar

Stitch Johnny Collar pieces right sides together along outer collar points and edges. Turn right side out, press, and edgestitch.

Shoulder Seams & Collar Attachment

Align Front Bodice and Back Bodice on Fold right sides together. Stitch shoulder seams and press seam allowances toward back. Sandwich collar into neckline slit right sides together, stitch with stretch stitch, and enclose raw edges.

Insert Sleeves & Sleeve Bands

Insert short sleeves flat into armholes right sides together. Attach folded sleeve bands to sleeve wrist openings right sides together, stitch, and press seam allowances.

Close Side Seams with Vents

Align front and back bodices right sides together. Stitch continuous side seams right sides together down to side vent notches, and press seam allowances open.

Finish Side Vents and Hem

Turn under 2 cm along side vents and lower bottom hem. Press seam allowances and stitch with twin needle or narrow stretch stitch.
