Join rib neckband short ends into a loop. Fold in half lengthwise wrong sides together. Quarter-mark band and neckline; stretch band evenly while stitching to neckline curve.
Pin short sleeve cap to armhole right sides together, aligning center sleeve notch to shoulder seam. Stitch sleeve cap into armhole with stretch stitch.
Align front and back body and sleeve edges, matching underarm seam intersection. Stitch continuously from sleeve hem to shirt bottom hem.
Press sleeve and hem allowances under 20 mm. Stitch using twin needle or zig-zag stretch stitch, and give garment a final steam press.
