Handle the deep scoop neckline gently so it does not grow before the neckband is attached. Place the Front Body and Back Body right sides together, stitch both shoulder seams with a stretch-compatible stitch, finish the allowances together, and press them toward the back.
Join the Neckband short ends into a loop and fold it lengthwise wrong sides together. Quarter-mark the band and deep scoop neckline, then add extra balance marks around the lower front curve. Stitch while stretching only the band so the neckline returns flat without gaping.
With the body open flat, match each Sleeve center cap notch to the shoulder seam and match the front and back notches. Support the soft modal fabric while stitching the sleeve cap into the armhole so the seam does not stretch.
Fold the tee right sides together, match the underarm seam intersections, and pin along the sleeve and body edges. Stitch continuously from each sleeve hem to the body hem, finish the allowances together, and press toward the back using low heat.
Let the tee rest flat, then press the sleeve and body hem allowances to the wrong side and stitch with a twin needle, coverstitch, or narrow zig-zag. Steam lightly and confirm that the deep scoop neckline lies smooth and level.
