Fold and Press Pleats
Fold and press knife pleats along marked guide lines, pinning each pleat firmly in place.

Baste and Join Skirt Panels
Baste across top pleat edges to secure folds. Sew skirt side seams leaving zipper opening.

Attach Hip Yoke
Sew side seams of outer hip yoke and inner yoke facing yoke. Attach outer yoke to upper pleated skirt edge.

Zipper and Hem
Install invisible side zipper, enclose waist with yoke facing, and stitch narrow hem along bottom pleat edges.
